Ensure high availability by maintaining DNS redundancy.

Men&Mice and NS1 join forces for a webinar on ultimate network resilience with xDNS redundancy

DNS services are the most critical component of any network’s availability. When DNS services are halted, or slowed down significantly, networks become inaccessible, leading to huge losses in revenue and reputation for enterprises.

Maintaining redundant DNS master servers ensures the uninterrupted, up-to-date availability of DNS services and has proven to successfully mitigate the consequences of configuration errors, a distributed denial of services (DDoS) attack or other forms of harmful DNS infrastructure failure.

However, the lack of centralized views, management and synchronization across multiple DNS hosting platforms can turn multi-platform DNS redundancy into an unnecessarily risky administrative burden, exacerbated by the complexity of diverse platform APIs.

Recently released, the Men&Mice xDNS redundancy feature provides the abstraction level necessary to replicate and synchronize critical DNS master zones across multiple DNS service provider platforms, on-premises, in the cloud, or in a multi-cloud environment.

In this webinar, Sigfus Magnusson, VP of Product Management at Men&Mice, and James McCarthy, Director of Solutions Engineering from NS1, will discuss different strategies for achieving network resilience with DNS redundancy.

Topics include:

  • the perks and the challenges of hosting critical DNS infrastructure using multiple DNS networks or service providers
  • migrating DNS zones from “traditional” DNS servers to a redundant DNS set-up
  • using Men&Mice xDNS to replicate and synchronize critical DNS zones across multiple networks and/or platforms
