Mr. Carsten Strotmann hosted a webinar on Kea, the new open source DHCPv4 and DHCPv6 server from Internet Systems Consortium (ISC). Kea DHCP, the first stable production version was released in December 2015. Kea will replace the 20 year old ISC DHCP server in many Linux and Unix distributions.
This webinar highlights the differences between the old ISC DHCP and new Kea DHCP (database support, dynamic reconfiguration, performance wins, scripting hooks) and showcases the Men&Mice Suite as a graphical front-end to both ISC DHCP and Kea to ease the migration.
